In today's society, it is essential that students become creative and critical thinkers; are able to collaborate, create, and effectively communicate; and are responsible, self-directed, global citizens. Technology tools are intrinsic to developing these characteristics and essential to creating and providing an instructional experience relevant to every students future.

With classroom teacher approval, students may use their own devices to access the Internet and collaborate with other students. By allowing students to use their own technology on campus, we are hoping to increase access so that all students have to the technology they need to succeed. Digital Citizenship and Internet Safety

Digital Citizenship can be described as the norms of appropriate, responsible behavior (and its positive and negative impact on self and others) with regard to technology use. FCPS schools seek to develop responsible and productive digital citizens. Learn how we can partner to build citizenship skills in our innovative world.
