Mr. Tranfa has spent his 20 years in education focused on the success and achievement of students with disabilities. He began his career as an instructional assistant at a public day school in Prince William County before he began his teaching journey in Fairfax County. Mr. Tranfa has served the students, staff, and parents in FCPS as a special education teacher, assistant director of student activities, assistant principal, and as a school principal at Burke School and now as the proud principal of Quander Road School.
Mr. Tranfa holds a B.A. in Psychology, an M. Ed. in Special Education k-12, and a post-graduate professional certification in School Leadership and Administration.
Mrs. Adrian Williams is a veteran educator with more than 17 years of experience with students aged 3 to 21 years. Mrs. Williams began her career in Norfolk Virginia as a special education teacher before relocating to Northern Virginia and entering school counseling. After earning a RAMP designation for her high school in 2015 she was named Outstanding High School Counselor of the Year. Mrs. Williams concluded 7 years as a school counselor when in the spring of 2016 she was announced as the Assistant Principal of Quander Road School.
Mrs. Williams earned the Bachelor of Arts Degree in Commercial Art from Alabama Agricultural and Mechanical University in Huntsville, AL; the Master of Urban Studies Degree in School Counseling from Norfolk State University in Norfolk, VA; and her Administration and Supervision Pre K-12 endorsement from George Mason University in Fairfax, VA. She proudly serves the county as an Assistant Principal at Quander Road School.
