Attendance Reporting

Full-day absence, late arrival, or early checkout

ParentVue - Report a full-day absence

Beginning in the 24-25 school year, parents/legal guardians can submit full-day absences using ParentVUE

Student absences must be reported for each day a student is absent. When reporting a student's absence, please note the date or dates and be specific about why your student will not be attending school. If reporting an ill student, include symptoms, especially if they have a fever, nausea, vomiting, sore throat, and/or cough. If your student has a diagnosis from a healthcare provider, please include that information. Students are responsible for checking Schoology for missed assignments.

School Attendance Line - Report a full-day absence, late arrival or early dismissal

703-718-2424

Call the school attendance line on the morning of the absence or send your child in with a note from parent/guardian. Provide the student's name, parent/guardian name, relationship to the student, date, and reason for absence. If reporting an ill student, include symptoms, especially if they have a fever, nausea, vomiting, sore throat, and/or cough. If your student has a diagnosis from a healthcare provider, please include that information. If a student will be absent for more than one day, a call or note must be made each day. Students are responsible for checking Schoology for missed assignments.
